Preparation for operation
Before starting work, follow the following algorithm for preparing the dry heat gun:
- Adaptation after transportation: If the dry heat gun was transported at negative temperatures and/or in high humidity, be sure to leave it in a dry room with a room temperature of 18-22°C for at least 4 hours. This is necessary for the correct first (after transportation) startup of the device.
- Uninstalling accessories: Make sure that you have removed all optional accessories (power cord, Safe Wizard kit, etc.) from the dryer chamber and removed the protective films. When the device is in operation, only objects and materials that can withstand temperatures of 200°C should be inside.
Rules for placing the dryer in your space
Following the simple rules for placing the dry heat gun in your workspace will help you achieve maximum comfort while using it:
- place the dry heat gun on a flat, horizontal surface;
- make sure that the distance between the front panel of the device and the edge of the work surface is at least 8-10 cm.
Air circulation is essential
Adequate air circulation is a key factor for cooling the surface of the housing and, as a result, for the safe operation of the dryer. Follow these recommendations when preparing the work surface:
- at least 30 cm of free space on top;
- at least 15 cm of free space on both sides;
- at least 10 cm of free space at the back.
Be careful! Do not place the dry heat gun in enclosed spaces without air access (cabinets, cabinets and other closed furniture).
Safe “neighborhood”
To minimize the risk of fire and damage to the device, create a safety zone around the dry heat gun. Make sure that there are no
- flammable materials (paper, fabrics);
- chemically active substances (solvents, alcohols)
- liquids and other sources of moisture;
- open sources of fire;
- electrical wiring and unstable objects.
Prevention and care of the dryer
Observance of the following rules will help maintain high performance and extend the life cycle of your dry heat sterilizer:
- keep the dry heat sterilizer clean – MicroSTOP Clean is a useful product for cleaning the metal surfaces of the dry heat sterilizer from burn marks;
- avoid mechanical damage;
- follow the rules for placing the device specified above;
- for the purpose of technical inspection or in case of malfunctions, contact our Service Center for timely service even after the warranty period has expired.
