1. Does your sterilizer dull manicure tools?

No, it doesn’t.

Because heating the instruments with hot air does not affect their sharpness.

2. Does your dryer have a warranty, certification?

Yes. All our sterilizers are certified in Ukraine, with a warranty of 18 months. The service center is located in Kyiv.

3. Do I need a special table for the dry heat sterilizer?

No. It can be placed on any flat horizontal surface so that there is at least 8 cm to its edge. The free distance on the sides and back of the sterilizer should be at least 10 cm, above the lid – 30 cm.

4. How to properly sterilize manicure instruments in a dry heat sterilizer?

The algorithm for sterilizing instruments in a dry heat sterilizer is as follows: place the dry instruments prepared after the PSO on a removable tray, lower the tray into the sterilization chamber, close the lid of the sterilizer, set the time and sterilization mode using the buttons, wait for the timer to go off, and wait for the sterilizer to cool slightly.

5. What is the advantage of Microstop sterilizers?

By choosing Microstop sterilizers, you get:

  • Full package of permits; certificate of conformity, quality certificate;
  • Compliance with the requirements of sterilization parameters approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
  • 18 months warranty in Ukraine;
  • Post-warranty service;
  • Availability of a service center;
  • Attractive design and compact size of the drying devices;
  • 100% guarantee of sterility of your instrument.

6. Why does plaque appear on the dry bar?

Sterilization odor or plaque is a normal phenomenon when using kraft bags, as any paper used for the manufacture of kraft bags contains resins. When heated, the kraft bag tends to release these resins, which eventually settle on the surfaces of the dry goods. However, if you regularly clean your dry heaters, the resin will not accumulate. We recommend purchasing a special all-purpose solution for cleaning tumblers and tools – MICROSTOP CLEAN 500 ml.

7. How is the dry heat gun packaged?

The dryer set includes:

  • a tray for placing instruments;
  • tray holder rings (used by the nail technician to place and remove the tray with instruments from the dryer)
  • power cord;
  • instructions for using the dryer;
  • certificate of conformity and certificate of quality (also available on our website, you can download and print them if necessary);
  • warranty card for 18 months;
  • holders for kraft bags (with their help, the bags are placed vertically in the tray, included in the set of models for sterilization in krafts M1+, M2, M3+).

8. At what temperature should instruments be sterilized?

Microstop dry heat cabinets have three sterilization modes that meet the sterilization standards of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine:
200 °C – 30 min,
180 °C – 60 min,
160 °C – 150 min.
And the fourth mode is drying: 80 °C – 30 minutes.

If you sterilize instruments in kraft bags, we recommend using the 180 °C – 60 min mode.

9. What is the difference between a dry heat sterilizer and an autoclave?

Air sterilizers (dry heat) use dry hot air for sterilization. During hot air sterilization, pathogens are destroyed by high temperatures (from 160°C) and for a long time.
Steam sterilizers (autoclaves) use hot steam under pressure. In this case, pathogens are destroyed at lower temperatures – 126-135°C.

10. How do I turn on the dry heat?

To turn on the dry heat:

  1. Connect to the mains.
  2. Press the button on the rear panel.
  3. On the front panel, press the button and select the desired mode with short presses (note that for sterilization in kraft bags, select a mode no higher than 180 degrees).
  4. After selecting the mode, please fix your finger on the button for a few seconds, the selected mode will start.
    Please note!
    The button on the front panel is not touch-sensitive, it must be pressed.

11. How to sterilize the instruments correctly?

The steps of sterilization:

  1. Soak the instruments in a disinfectant solution according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
  2. Rinse the instruments thoroughly under running water;
  3. Dry the instruments. Remove all water droplets from the instruments (e.g., with a paper towel). Place the instruments on the drying tray and turn on the “drying” setting at 80 degrees for 30 minutes. Alternatively, wait until the instruments are completely dry without using the drying mode;
  4. Place the dried instruments in kraft bags or the desiccant tray;
  5. Select the sterilization mode;
  6. After completion of the sterilization cycle, after a beep, open the dry heat sterilizer, wait until it cools down to a temperature of 20-30°C, turn off the button on the back of the sterilizer and unplug it from the outlet.

12. I am just starting out. What do I need to buy for sterilization for a beginner?
We recommend that you purchase a sterilizer, disinfectant solution for instruments, kraft bags, a container for soaking instruments, a spray for disinfecting the surface and hands of the client/your hands, gloves, masks, lint-free wipes, an ultrasonic cleaner, and a safe technician’s log.
